About the Artwork
Flaxmill Bay & Front Beach captures a view from the cliff-side hiking track on the western side of Shakespeare Cliff. After crossing the wide grassy reserve at the top of the cliff, the track to Flaxmill Bay winds down through regenerating native forest. Inviting glimpses are revealed of the turquoise bay below, and out across the water to Front Beach and the ranges beyond.
